LEGALIZE THC AND AUTOMATIC EXPUNGEMENT. Kansas is losing millions of dollars to Missouri and Oklahoma (both of which have more conservative laws and smaller progressive populations than we do). Some form of THC is legal in 41/50 states. Our nation is leaving us behind! We are a state known for agriculture. The vast majority of your constituents would much rather sell land to dispensaries than date centers. Lab grown THC is federally legal in all states, but the plant that grows naturally is illegal here…. How does that make any sense? THC causes much less physical, health, and psychological issues than alcohol. THC use does not kill people, unlike alcohol. THC does not cause fighting and property damage, unlike alcohol. THC is medicine. It cannot be prosecuted. It must be legalized and all possession convictions must be expunged. Show that you care about your constituents. Show that you can do your job and follow your people’s will. If you do not do it, the governor will in November and you will have held us back once again for nothing. This is your chance to redeem your useless career and possibly maintain your position.
