I, your constituent, absolutely implore you to not end the government shutdown. Do not cave to republicans who have a history of lying. They have never once kept their “promises” to the American people let alone congress people. They have no respect for our country or the American people and have always done what benefits themselves. Do NOT cave in. You will no longer have my confidence or vote. We have to stay strong and let people realize that this is a government for the people and by the people and we will no longer be dictated to by republicans pushing their religious agendas among other things that they try to sneak into these bills. The president is building a million dollar ballroom lined with gold with our tax money. They do not care for the average American. They do not care for our veterans, our elderly, our children. They only care about cheating the system to make themselves richer. Robbing us. Do not cave in. A blue wave has finally come to pass and it is because the American people have spoken and prefer a stronger democratic front where we don’t give into republican demands. Please, my family and I beg you - do not let them win. Do not bend to them. We need to restore our community and hope by staying strong.
