WHEREAS, in 1908 the U.S. Supreme Court declared that American Indian Tribes are entitled to sufficient water to make their reservations livable homelands; and WHEREAS, for decades the federal government has denied Native Americans access to the water on their lands; I DEMAND that you ensure, protect, and preserve water rights for Native American Tribes, and fully fund Indian water rights settlements, which are the moral and legal obligation of the USA.
