Censorship has no place in the USA. HR7661 is a shallow waste of resources for an educational system that is already struggling from lack of funding. Encourage your fellows in Congress to vote AGAINST HR7661. If this passes it sets a precedent that anything that a small group deems unpleasant but is ultimately harmless can be removed. There will be nothing stopping people from banning books with themes of Christianity, politics, or any topic someone in the future doesn’t like. Vote NO against HR7661 if you are given the chance, and tell your colleagues to vote NO as well.
