It is better to be in a proxy war than a war of choice. In a war of choice it is foolish to empty your munitions on folly while supporting those you are in a proxy war against. A war you can’t justify or back away from without losing face A war you have compromise untrained businessmen negotiators trying to broker a corrupt deal to end. It is all stupid does as stupid is. Iran is a doom loop war. Only Congress can end it by ending funding. It is better to do so through congressional action because Iran and its proxies will never settle this war it is to their advantage to keep it going. Administration will never back out of it for their own stupid reasons. They need someone to blame and Congress needs to be that someone. The people will thank you for stepping in. I’ve not met anyone who is for it. My perception is that they will punish you if you allow it to continue. Write exceptions to the war powers act and vote on it sooner than later. End this insane war of choice with Iran.
