As your Ohio constituent I urge you to vote NO on the budget reconciliation bill that hands $70 billion to ICE and Border Patrol with zero accountability, zero reforms, and zero oversight until after Trump leaves office. That money should be going toward healthcare and housing — things people in this country actually need — not detention warehouses and black site camps where families disappear with no transparency. Since Trump took office, more than 40 people have died in ICE custody. That is the highest death toll in this short a period on record. Rewarding that track record with a blank check locked in for three years is unconscionable. This reconciliation maneuver is specifically designed to bypass opposition and rubber-stamp a system that has already proven it will abuse people's rights and kill American citizens Vote against this.
