I have lived in your districts for 14 years since moving here from Connecticut. In all that time I have not seen anything that this states legislature has done to make the lives of the average Tennessean better. Oh you have made it easier to own guns, taken massive amounts of money from our states education system and have allowed large data centers to be built that destroy the enviroment. I still remember when I first started as a corrections officer for the state and I learned a horrifying statistic. That statistic was that nearly 20% of all adults in the state of Tennessee was under TDOC supervision in one way or another. Nothing a state should be proud of. My youngest son who was a junior in High School when we came here was a C student. In Tennessee he started getting A's. He told me he was learning stuff in 11th grade here that he had already learned in 8th and 9th grade. I have sent many emails to you over the years on my stance on certain issues and rarely get a response. Politcal coruption is rampant in Tennessee. Rent is rising, housing cost overall are through the roof,hospitals are closing or just plain suck, police act more like storm troopers, food and gas prices are nearing unaffordable levels. I can go on and on. Yet you only care about your party, political power and yourselves. Just this week you voted to eliminate the states only black/democratic House of Representative district. You ended the special session with laughter and high fives. Showing the rest of the country that racism is alive and well in the good ole south. With all this said, I want to thank you for not caring about my vote or my concern for issues. I truly feel that I have no representation here. I do believe in 1775 a little revolution was started over not being represented. I do not expect a response, you never have responded to anything anyway.
