Now that Congress is back in session- in addition to reminding the congressman that supporting the extention of ACA credits and keeping thousands of Pennsylvanians on their medical care is the only morally correct thing to do- I would also like to ask again for you to protect public media. This includes not voting for KOSA, as it only affects adults and does nothing to help kids with media literacy or staying safe online. This includes not allowing Mastercard, PayPal, and VISA to tell consumers what they can and cannot purchase in regards to media. And this especially includes making sure rural and tribal radio and TV stations receive their funding back. The 2026 budget proposal should include that last point, and if it does not already, you need to urge Senators Collins and Murray to include it. This is vital to Pennsylvania. It is art, music, and at times life saving news. With NOAA slashed, our public information about potentially deadly diasasters is already abysmal. To limit it further is inviting tragedy, like what we witnessed earlier this year with the Texas flooding, directly after this very same early warning funding was slashed. Please approach your decisions about public safety and healthcare with compassion or resign and let someone who will do your job. Thank you
