I am writing to inform you that I can no longer support you as my representative in Congress. Your decision to support someone with a well-documented history of serious misconduct over a competent young candidate with fresh ideas and a vision for the future is deeply disappointing. This choice reflects poorly on your judgment and your commitment to the values you claim to represent. Furthermore, I believe you have been ineffective in your role as a member of Congress. At a time when democratic institutions and norms are under serious threat, you have done far too little to stand against the rise of authoritarianism in our country. We need representatives with courage and conviction who will fight for democracy, not politicians who make calculated decisions that prioritize political expediency over principle. For these reasons, you have lost my support. I hope you will reconsider your priorities and remember that you serve the people, not party interests.
