i need to hear from a palestinian american. there are several possible speakers sitting in, weeping, and grieving just outside the convention. their ask to speak to those sponsoring their annihilation is a bare minimum request. in these past few weeks you have shown the capacity to make unexpected, politically savvy pivots. you have shown us that if you wanted to, you could figure this out before you start tomorrow. we can't win if there are 76 more days of children's dead bodies in our social media feeds while you speak democracy and silence voices for peace and ending apartheid and genocide. your leadership at this moment in history depends on you making room for the humanity of heartbroken constituents. see them. hear them. grow, right now.
