America is warring with Iran because our president had a “feeling based on fact” that Iran posed an “imminent and direct threat” to the United States.
President Donald Trump said Saturday that it was inconsequential if Russia has provided Iran with information to help Tehran target US military personnel and assets in the Middle East.
Trump dismissed the import of such information-sharing. Right after he attended the dignified transfer of our military members killed in a drone strike in Kuwait. Killed the day after the US and Israel launched a war on Iran.
Do you believe the families think Russia sharing info that maybe got their loved ones killed is inconsequential?
Do you think it’s inconsequential that Russia shares logistical information at the same time our president is lifting oil sanctions on them? Allowing them to sell oil because the war we started is impacting oil markets?
This is traitorous. No president in our history would behave so. And if they had the GOP would have had their head.
Now it’s a shrug and telling him he’s doing a great job.
And the best one…
President Trump’s response to being asked whether Americans should be worried about Iranian retaliatory attacks at home.
Trump acknowledged the possibility during an interview with Time magazine.
“I guess. But I think they’re worried about that all the time. We think about it all the time. We plan for it.”
“But yeah, you know, we expect some things,” he continued. “Like I said, some people will die. When you go to war, some people will die.”
A couple of points. We didn’t really think about Iran until Trump decided to hit them. Now yeah, we probably do think about retaliation. Why wouldn’t we?
But we don’t expect the retaliation to be the result of an illegal war declared unilaterally by our president. Where he shrugs and says ‘s#*t happens. Deal with it.’
And please note…he clearly says we’re at war. So let the dissembling with all the bob and weave language stop.
We’re at war. He started it. You’re enabling it. We the people hate it.
And no amount of blaming Joe Biden will change that fact.
