We have a politicized justice department that pardons violent J6 rioters along with Trump buddies like Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and Sidney Powell (who broke laws to try to overturn the 2020 election for our twice impeached felon president) WHILE CREATING BOGUS investigations of Trump’s political “enemies” such as Comey, Letitia James, Schiff, Mark Kelly, John Brennan, and now Gavin Newsom. Who is next? I am increasingly concerned that this unconstitutional use of the Dept of Justice will spread to a widening pool of activists and protestors and regular citizens of our state. A government that uses fear, intimidation and investigation to control the population/elections is a failed democracy. Elected leaders either protect the constitution they’ve sworn an oath to defend or they are directly responsible for the death of our democracy. The people are watching and we asking you to do everything in your power to protect the citizens of NC from tyranny. All people in our state and country have the right to speak out, protest, exercise our first amendment rights. We WILL NOT back down. And we’re counting on you to protect our rights.
