Is This a Public Health Department or another Trump Dumpster Fire?

To: Rep. Moran, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz

At what point do you admit that the Department of Health and Human Services is no longer functioning—and that’s exactly how Trump wants it? Medical research is stalled. Public communication has evaporated. The CDC barely exists. And Secretary Kennedy just banned NIH scientists from publishing in actual medical journals because, apparently, peer review is too “woke.” This administration doesn’t hire experts—it hires loyalists. Merit is out. Conspiracy is in. Trump’s not running a cabinet. He’s running a junk drawer: unqualified cronies, fringe influencers, and anyone willing to chant “yes, sir” instead of “what’s the evidence?” Loyalty over knowledge. Always. And while this circus unfolds, real people suffer. Student loan relief for future doctors? Gone. Research access? Censored. International students who could help fix shortages? Locked out. Apparently, nothing says “Make America Healthy Again” like kneecapping healthcare from every direction. Look around the world. Countries that politicized medicine saw vaccine boycotts, deadly outbreaks, and shattered public trust. That is the path we are on. And you’re holding the map. This isn’t draining the swamp—it’s flooding the ER with chaos, arrogance, and silence. Fix it. Or be remembered not as lawmakers, but as cowards who followed a MAGA messiah straight into the bowels of hell—silent, complicit, and too afraid to challenge a junk-drawer cabinet while public health collapsed around you.
