Ok, um, can you explain and support the notion of how a person convicted in the assault on American democracy can be trusted for a sensitive counterterrorism role in the U.S. government? It’s hard to support most of what Trump does but really, Elias Irizarry being appointed to a job in the Defense Department’s Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict office is really bad. Frankly I don’t care that he says he regrets his actions. He should regret his actions. I don’t buy it and I don’t think taxpayers should be paying his salary.
