The consequences of Kennedy's tenure have already proven devastating. The stalling of biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health, including the termination of the largest study on women's health, risks setting back scientific advancement by decades. Moreover, his defunding of childhood vaccination initiatives amidst the raging measles outbreak endangers countless young lives.
