I'm writing about H.R. 1, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." Sections 1905 and 44201 would strip gender-affirming care from both minors and adults and ban ACA plans from covering transition-related healthcare. That's not policy — it's cruelty. I'm the parent of a transgender son. Gender-affirming care saved his life, just like cancer treatment can. I honestly don't know if he'd still be here without it. Over 150,000 transgender people rely on Medicaid. These people have families, futures, and the right to live peacefully. Please don't let H.R. 1 move forward with these harmful provisions. Speak out.
