I am a constituent and I am writing to express my opposition to ICE's current enforcement tactics. I urge Congressional oversight, protections for immigrants, and oppose any additional funding allocated to ICE. President Trump's expansion of ICE funding has destroyed families and communities while essential needs like affordable healthcare continue to go unmet. Allocating billions to immigration enforcement while claiming there is no budget for healthcare is irresponsible and harmful. I urge Congress to hold the administration accountable, provide strong oversight, and protect immigrant communities.
