I’m writing to urge Governor Newsom to sign AB 554 by Assemblymember Mark González into law. California is so close to ending the AIDS epidemic. We need to remove unnecessary financial and insurance barriers to PrEP access. The Republican Regime's funding cuts and dismantling of healthcare threaten to make AIDS great again. Will you stand against them? Are you the LGBT ally we helped elect and the strong leader that Democrats crave? Or will you favor profit over saving the lives of your constituents? We—and the families of those who are lost—will remember your choice.
