President Trump just posted that he’s inviting Senator Rand Paul to a “BIG White House Party” so he can “get his Vote” on the so-called “Great, Big, Beautiful Bill.” He literally said this out loud. On purpose. In public.
This isn’t leadership. This is bribery with hors d’oeuvres.
When did we normalize using White House parties to pressure lawmakers for votes? When did passing legislation become a PR stunt built on flattery, threats, and spectacle? This isn’t a policy process. It’s a backroom deal with balloons.
You all know this bill isn’t “one of the greatest pieces of legislation ever.” It’s a Frankenstein mess Trump barely understands. It’s been rushed, rewritten, repackaged, and now apparently it’s being lobbied for with party invites.
Are you really okay being part of this circus? Or are you just too afraid of the next mean nickname if you vote with your conscience?
Do your job with integrity. Not for the champagne. Not for the gold chairs. Not for the post-party photo ops. And definitely not for Trump’s ego.
Vote NO on this farce of a bill. And while you’re at it, remind the President that the White House is not a country club, and Congress is not a prop for his reality show.
