Call for arm embargo or conditions on Israel

The continuous supply of U.S. arms and weapons to Israel during this devastating conflict perpetuates immense human suffering and loss of life. An immediate arms embargo or strict conditions on arms transfers is a moral imperative to pressure both sides to engage in serious ceasefire negotiations and diplomacy. The staggering civilian casualties, hostage crisis, and humanitarian crisis in Gaza demand a forceful response from the U.S. to stop fueling this bloody war. Withholding arms demonstrates our commitment to human rights and could provide the necessary leverage to bring the violence to an end through a negotiated settlement acceptable to all parties. I urge you to take decisive action in support of an arms embargo or, at minimum, stringent human rights conditions on any future arms transfers to Israel until a permanent ceasefire and path to peace is achieved.
