Bessent on China: "At the meeting in Geneva when I asked them, 'Why didn't you continue buying soybeans and the other products' they had one word, and guess what it was? Biden." That’s a lie. China Bought $12.6 Billion in U.S. Soybeans in 2024. Now, It’s $0. From 2011 to 2017 U.S. exports to China averaged 60% of total U.S. soybean exports. Starting in 2017 though & through 2018 to 2020, that share collapsed, going down to 18% in 2018. It started growing in 2020 & got back to 55% in 2023 under President Biden. Now it’s down to 0% under Trump. It took me 5 minutes to find these facts, how can he so blatantly lie? So now China is buying soybeans from Argentina, farmers here are going bankrupt, but instead of bailing out US farmers, this administration is sending $20B to Argentina. Bessent’s friend Rob Citrone is heavily invested in Argentina. This administration is corrupt to the core. And Congress doesn’t care.
