The Hernández Pardon Undermines Justice & Accountability

To: Pres. Trump

From: A verified voter in Marquette, MI

December 2, 2025

Pardoning Juan Orlando Hernández is a grave setback for efforts to fight corruption, stop drug trafficking, and support democracy in Honduras. It raises serious doubts about the U.S. commitment to fairness and the rule of law. History will see this as a decision that undermined justice and allowed serious wrongdoing to go unchecked.
