I’m writing to ask you to protect my autistic child’s data from the new HHS autism registry. The governor of Illinois has signed an executive order protecting his constituents’ information, and I would like you to take similar action. My son is 6, and profoundly autistic. Creating an autism registry feels like a first step towards punishing, deporting, or ultimately harming those patients, and I don’t want my son on any list created by RFK. Please take action to protect my son, as he cannot protect himself.
