VOTE NO ON SAVE ACT

To: Sen. Moreno, Sen. Husted, Rep. Taylor

From: A constituent in Loveland, OH

March 9

Your oath was to the constitution, not the President. You work for the people, not for the President. Your job is to assure that we can vote, as that is at the core of our rights and freedoms. We the people elect you, the President doesn’t. The Save Act will make it harder for so many Americans to vote. Women who changed their name, will have to jump through extra hoops, if they can even afford it. That alone is not right! And there are so many other parts of this bill that make no sense. It is already illegal for non-citizens to vote, and frankly that isn’t an issue that has impacted the outcome of any election. Why put such a burden on rural voters? Do not give into the president’s pressure to vote for this bill. It is wrong, and I believe you know that. The big question is, do you have the courage to vote no? I really hope so!
