Each new revelation of the released Jeffrey Epstein child-sex-trafficking files is horrifying and makes clear powerful men have been able to get away with those appalling crimes against underage girls for decades. But this Republican administration says there is nothing to be investigated. That we should “move on” from the tens of thousands of credible allegations. The partisan Department of Justice is blocking the release of more files. The individuals identified as Epstein’s pedophile clients must be prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law. Some of the latest documents show direct ties between Epstein, Vladimir Putin, and Sergei Lavrov, making this a matter of national security. You, as a member of Congress, have a duty to demand accountability. The gravity of the information in those documents requires you support and defend the victims and demand prosecution for the perpetrators. History will remember what you did in this moment. Women are 50 percent of your constituents, and they vote. Please take action.
