File it under ‘He can dish it out but he sure can’t take it.’ The prez banned certain media outlets because they were being mean to him. And just like every other petty action he takes, it is backfiring. This will not result in better, or no, coverage that he considers unfair. But it will result in a public outcry in defense of the press and renewed efforts by the banned media to cover him even more thoroughly. He just doesn’t seem to understand the basic concept of action/reaction. So let’s heed instead the words of a past president who understood what makes Americans really free… “To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” Morally treasonable. And FYI it’s already been a busy Sunday for the man in he Oval… “President Donald Trump on Sunday said his proposed 250-foot triumphal arch will now be a “top grade” military complex that will house drones, snipers and ammunition. In a post on Truth Social Trump wrote that he has agreed to convert the arch “at the strong request” of the U.S. military, and “for National Security purposes.” The “Military Complex/Triumphal Arch” near Arlington National Cemetery will “house, store, and have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones, plus Snipers, on both the roof and plaza areas, and additionally have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage,” Trump wrote. “There will be no facility like this anywhere in the World.” Coo coo for Cocoa Puffs he is.
