TRUMP SUES SIX STATES
Donald Trump’s Justice Department has launched lawsuits against multiple Democratic-led states — demanding access to their voter rolls, including your private information.
The targets? Battleground Pennsylvania — the most pivotal state in recent elections — along with Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, and Oregon.
The DOJ claims it’s about “cleaning up voter rolls.” But what they’re really after is data: birthdates, addresses, voting history — and even partial Social Security numbers. Civil rights advocates warn this is part of a broader effort to build political databases that can be used to suppress and intimidate voters ahead of the 2026 midterms.
Even worse — Trump’s DOJ is bypassing Congress and state legislatures, suing state election officials directly in federal court to try and force compliance.
And this isn’t the only overreach: Trump has issued an executive order demanding documentary proof of citizenship to vote, and he’s publicly called for an end to mail-in voting. Together, these actions would upend centuries of election law and strip power from states — the very bodies the Constitution puts in charge.
These lawsuits aren’t about integrity. They’re about power. About control. About gathering enough voter data to redraw maps, restrict registration, and target communities that oppose the authoritarian movement now occupying the White House.
