Support tenure and college programs about minorities

I would like to go on record as supporting tenure for college professors. It's hard enough to get and they get paid so little, it seems the least we can do is give them intellectual freedom that can only be had with tenure. I also want you to support programs/certificates that teach the histories and experiences of minority communities such as African American, Chicano, LGBTQIA+. I never got to learn anything about their contributions and struggles in school, and it has skewed my understanding of the world around me. It doesn't hurt my feelings to learn these things; rather, it helps me feel more connected with more people.
