MASKS OFF, ICE OUT.

To: Sen. Marshall, Sen. Moran, Rep. Davids

From: A constituent in Prairie Village, KS

February 1

No federal agency should operate in our communities behind masks, secrecy, or intimidation. When ICE agents conceal their identities and conduct raids without transparency or accountability, it erodes due process, violates civil liberties, and spreads fear among families who are part of our communities. Public safety and the rule of law require openness. If enforcement actions are lawful, agents should clearly identify themselves, respect warrants, and adhere to constitutional limits—without exception. Secrecy is not security; it is a warning sign of abuse. I urge you to end masked and warrantless ICE operations, impose strict transparency and identification requirements, and reject funding that expands detention and fear-based enforcement. Redirect resources to humane, lawful alternatives—fair immigration courts, legal counsel, and community-based case management. MASKS OFF. ICE OUT.
