The House Ethics Committee is currently investigating allegations of sexual misconduct and illicit drug use against Representative Matt Gaetz. As a matter of transparency and accountability for elected officials, it is imperative that the findings of this investigation are made public. The release of the Ethics Committee's report would allow constituents and the American people to understand the full scope of the allegations against Rep. Gaetz and whether he has violated any laws or ethical standards. Withholding this report would only breed further distrust in our democratic institutions. Therefore, I strongly urge you to call for the complete and unredacted release of the Ethics Committee's report on Rep. Matt Gaetz now, before his confirmation hearing. The public has a right to know the truth about the conduct of their elected representatives and potential Attorney General.
