Please continue to support NPR, PBS, and USAID. There is an incoming request to defund these projects, but they are vital to our democracy. In a world of rising inflation and costs, very little is free. Media that delivers accurate news and educational programming to our most vulnerable populations is vital. I pay income and property taxes and should get a say in where that money goes. I want my money going towards these public programs. I also want you to support measures that support other social services like the libraries, Medicaid & Medicare, and our public education system. I do not support it going to the cartoonish schemes of billionaires or other unsavory figures grasping for power. Historically, nor currently they do not make America great. Remember, our sacred democracy is in your hands and you must uphold it. The right-wing might have the majority now, but that power could easily go to the left. Be careful to ensure the checks and balances stay in check and balanced.
