IS RUSSIA HELPING IRAN KILL AMERICANS?

To: Rep. Pfluger, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz

March 31

Today’s presidential missive to the world… ““All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty. And Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT. You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil! President DJT”” Todays’s response from the world… “This is not our war.” Meanwhile average gas prices have hit $4 per gallon nationwide, per AAA. And now the president says he’d be happy to withdraw from Iran without the Strait being reopened. Another instance of a mess made based on fantastical thinking. He has a lifetime of such. And there’s always someone else to take the blame or clean it up. While he declares victory. It’s exhausting trying to keep up with the nonsense. Unfortunately his nonsense is endangering America. And the world. Iran recently destroyed an American E-3 Sentry. An airborne warning and control system, described as a flying air traffic control tower. Which apparently was important. And that we don’t have many of. On March 6, WaPo reported that “Russia has passed Iran the locations of U.S. military assets, including warships and aircraft,” citing three officials familiar with the intelligence. One of the sources described the Russian assistance as “a pretty comprehensive effort.” CNN’s reporters found the same, adding, “Much of the intelligence Russia has shared with Iran has been imagery from Moscow’s sophisticated constellation of overhead satellites.” Journalists from NBC News and PBS reported this, too. Last Thursday — a day before the destruction of the Sentry plane — the French Foreign Minister said: “There are reasons to believe that Russia is now supporting Iran’s military efforts, which appear to be directed in particular at American targets.” On Saturday, Ukrainian President Zelensky revealed some of his nation’s intelligence to the world: “U.S. military facilities in the Middle East and the Gulf region were photographed by Russian satellites in the interests of Iran. … On March 25th, they took pictures of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.” That was two days before the strike that destroyed the Sentry. Trump was asked about the Russian help to Iran in an interview with Fox News Radio on March 13: Fox: You think Putin is helping [the Iranians]? Trump: I think he might be helping them a little bit, yeah, I guess. And he probably thinks we’re helping Ukraine. Right? Fox: And you are. Right? [Laughs] Trump: Yeah, we’re helping them also. … It’s like, uh, hey, they do it and we do it in all fairness. They do it and we do it.” We’ve seen the president get apoplectically angry over basically anyone who’s ever uttered a critical word of him. But when he gets asked about Russia helping the Iranians target American servicemen and women, he responds with a metaphorical shrug. “They do it and we do it.” Trump seems consistently unbothered by anything Putin does. Even killing Americans. Oh well. Like the GOP seems fond of believing, ‘If a Republican president does it, it’s not wrong.’
