I'm writing to express my deep distress at the Trump administration's unilateral decision to go to war with Iran. At this point, it's clear that this administration cannot be trusted to avoid unauthorized military conflict. I urge Congress to immediately pass legislation limiting the President's ability to order military action without Congressional authority. This is the second time in a bit over two months that Trump has sought to use military action to force regime change abroad. We cannnot wait to limit his power. Enough damage has been done. Please do your duty as Congress and take action to rein in this President from additional unauthorized military action. Thank you.
