Though it is good that Greg Bovino will no longer be on American streets, it changes nothing about what must still be done. Democrats must continue to push for the abolition of ICE. This is also the moment to demand the resignation of Stephen Miller. All of the architects and enablers of ICE’s war on the American people must be held accountable. Demand full investigations into ICE’s use of deadly force against protesters and their murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Refuse to pass any Homeland Security appropriations bill that maintains funding for ICE. Conduct public investigations into the DOJ’s coordinated protection of ICE agents from criminal liability. ICE must go. Kristi Noem must go. Stephen Miller must go.
