Donald Trump has turned the United States government upside down, backwards, and inside out. When MAGA loses its majority, shortly, it will be time to remove him and each and every one of his successors and lackeys from office, by impeachment or resignation and then prosecution to the fullest extent of the law (including past flunkies like Musk and his minions.) Additionally, each and every abuse of power by his executive must be reigned in by legislation and strict oversight. All potential “emergency” powers on the books must be evaluated and must be reclaimed by congress in such a way that the potential for abuse and the scope of that abuse is severely curtailed. Special attention needs to be given to the tremendous abuses of Americans protected data that took place under DOGE’s pretext of rooting out fraud and inefficiency. The commercial entities that supported those data breaches and inappropriate (illegal) use of data (including integration with brokered data) must be publicly called out and punished. The ringleaders must be prosecuted and brought to justice. I suggest that DHS and the Patriot Act require complete disassembly - the warnings of the day were ignored and we’ve seen the result. Campaign finance reform needs immediate attention or else nothing will change. Get big money of all sorts out of politics NOW. The game is hardball. No more slow pitches. You know the players on the other team and they have no more grace, they have shown who they are and it’s time to shut them out. A warning - this is no time for the Democrats to step into the vacated shoes of the oppressor and become what is being displaced. Show the American people that you understand the assignment. Show us that you care about us and not about money or power or the status quo - make it better. Show us your loyalty to the amended constitution. Show us that your principles and values are admirable and match ours. Show us that you understand our pains and hardships. I know I covered multiple topics beneath the umbrella of re-corking. There may be more, but I believe these are the most critical areas to focus on. It’s going to take a ton of work by everyone to recover from the naked emperor.
