We count on you, our elected officials, to be our voice. Your constituents' rights are being violated by the current administration on a daily basis. Privacy rights as a non-elected official siphons off private data of government workers. Bodily rights as information is deleted by the CDC related to transgender health, sexual health, and vaccinations. Citizenship rights as birthright citizenship is questioned and your constituents are rounded up and under threat by ICE. We need more than votes. This is the time to be loud. We need you in front of the media, on social media, posting blogs, speaking out for us daily. We need you to resist this administration at every turn. Slow the progress of racist/sexist/white nationalist bills. Push your colleagues to do the same. ORGANIZE your constituents. Tell us when to gather, what is needed to make changes. Not just voting. Organize boycotts, gatherings, etc. Be the leader we elected you to be.
