Additionally, the Department of Education is instrumental in upholding civil rights in education. It helps protect students from discrimination and ensures that all children have equal access to opportunities that will allow them to thrive. Eliminating the department would not only undermine these protections but also hinder the efforts to create an equitable education system for all Americans. As a passionate advocate for education and social justice, I urge you to strongly oppose any efforts to eliminate the Department of Education. Instead, I encourage you to continue working toward strengthening and improving the agency’s capacity to serve our nation’s diverse educational needs.
