I'm writing in opposition to the appointment of Tom Blanchett as the Librarian of Congress. Mr Blanchett has no experience in the area of library management. And concerns have been raised regarding Mr. Blanchett's management style as lacking transparency and collaboration. Moreover, The Library of Congress is under the purview of Congress, NOT the executive branch. As such, the Trump administration should have no authority to either dismiss Carla Hayden or hire a replacement. Carla Hayden should be reinstated to the position she has excelled at immediately. Precluding that, please block Trump putting his personal defence attorney, who is completely unqualified, in this important position.
