Today, I was deeply moved by listening to the testimony of Aliyah Rahman, a US Citizen who was ripped from her car and unlawfully detained. Since you were not present at the testimony, I highly urge you to listen to what she had to say. To say her description of her experience is unsettling is a drastic understatement. She was shackled, mocked, disregarded, and denied care. She was dehumanized, called a "body," and ignored. How is this happening in the United States of America? Does this make you proud? Is America great again? You have the opportunity and the obligation to FIX THIS. The Department of Homeland Security, and specifically ICE must be reined in. Regulations must be put in place, starting with proper officer training, the abolition of daily quotas, and increased accountability. We are witnessing the downfall of our nation unless YOU do something about it.
