Codify reproductive rights in the United States constitution.

To: Rep. Griffith, Sen. Kaine, Pres. Trump, Sen. Warner

November 1

Codify reproductive rights in the United States constitution. There should be no ability to prosecute women for making choices about their body. The laws to that effect in multiple states have resulted in higher maternal mortality rates and higher infant mortality rates. It is unacceptable to have pregnant people bleeding to death in ER parking lots because the medical staff fear prosecution if they help her and it is not deemed an emergency in 20:20 hindsight. Third trimester abortions should be limited to only available when the life of the pregnant person is at risk if the pregnancy continues but there should be no prosecution and 20:20 hind sight look at this as this prevents women from getting emergency care when they need it most to save their life. These women often already have family and children who need them. Their lives matter too.
