As you prepare to vote on the DHS appropriations bill that just passed the House, I urge you to vote No on this bill in light of the unconstitutional and unconscionable actions of ICE not only in Minneapolis, but also in the rest of our country. Killing innocent people in the streets does not Make America Great Again. Have you developed historical amnesia, or was this country’s foundation of “liberty and justice for all” only meant to apply to white men with wealth and inherited power? Just food for thought. Vote No on funding any more ICE operations.
