Do not allow HR 7661 to come to pass. It does not keep kids safe, as it says it will. It defunds libraries and uses a vague definition of “sexually explicit material” as a means to ban any reference to LGBTQ+ individuals and erase their lived experience. Passing it is educational malpractice and does a disservice to public education’s duty to serve and represent ALL kids and families.
