I am writing with deep urgency to strongly urge you to vote NO on the Big Ugly Bill. I support meaningful immigration reform and agree that there must be a clear and humane path to citizenship, this bill is not the answer. The Big Ugly Bill threatens to strip food from vulnerable children and cut health care access for both infants and the elderly. These are not just numbers on a spreadsheet — these are lives. Harming the most defenseless members of our society in the name of political compromise is unconscionable. I ask you to consider the real-world impact of this legislation. There are better, more compassionate ways to achieve reform without sacrificing the health and dignity of our communities. Please do the right thing. Vote NO on the Big Ugly Bill.
