I am an Arkansan, born and bred. I come from generations of farmers, teachers, and clergy. I am your constituent. I no longer see any decency, integrity, or morality in the Republican party. Snatching third graders away in handcuffs? Shipping innocents to horrific prison conditions because of a “clerical error”? Targeting programs designed to help the least among us, while lining the pockets of those who have more than they could ever need? Who are you? Where is your Christianity? Where is your humanity? At the very least, where is your concern for your OWN power, which is supposed to hold the president accountable? Have you no pride? Have you no shame? Remember where you came from. Remember the Bible verses you are so fond of quoting. Be a voice of reason. Stand up. Stop this madness. There is no good here, only harm. This is NOT the Republican Party of my youth. You are unrecognizable. Have some dignity. Have some class. Have mercy.
