I urge you to suppor the joint resolution to terminate Trump’s emergency order and federal occupation of DC. This authoritarian power grab is infringing on DC’s right of self-governance and putting the safety of DC residents and visitors at risk. Additionally, I ask that you support making the District of Columbia the 51st state in the union.
