An Open Letter

To: Rep. Elfreth, Sen. Alsobrooks, Sen. Van Hollen

From: A constituent in Arnold, MD

December 31

I am writing to ask that you and other members of Congress pressure the government to resume childcare payments to Minnesota. This is a time where all states, especially blue ones, need to form an alliance and when one state is in trouble we all join in to help protect and save them. We do not stand by quietly and watch it happen or we will be next. We need to do this every time that administration attacks one of our states. We need to fight back. We need to sue them. When we fight, we win. We do not win anything by standing by. This is the article from NPR discussing how the funds are being stopped to support daycares. https://www.npr.org/2025/12/30/g-s1-104049/trump-minnesota-child-care-funding-freeze-fraud-schemes
