With the emerging threats of punishment and deportation by the Trump Administration, I fear that the SCREEN Act, introduced in both Senate and House, and KOSA will make the Trump Admin.'s threats more tangible. These pieces of bogus legislation are Trojan Horses, allowing data to be collected on what the public chooses to find in the internet. This is not about protecting children, it's about controlling the adults the Admin wishes to control. I urge you to vote against these pieces of legislation, and, should legislation go through, to write laws that truly would protect children. Possibly making it law to have parental controls available through internet providers or on adult websites. Do not choose the lazy route, for the good of the people.
