The message by President Donald J. Trump on Easter Sunday troubles me greatly. On the Christian day of New Beginnings , of the story of sacrifice and forgiveness, President Trump sent out a message of War and Retribution. Congress, the REPUBLICAN CONGRESS must stop this! He threatens to bomb civilian power plants. He threatens to bomb water desalination plants. These are War Crimes. The Iranian populace have suffered an entire month of bombing by our U.S. Air Force. Even if they *wanted* to rise up against the Khomeini regime , we have made it impossible for them to do so. To deprive them of power and WATER!!! President Trump is exhibiting signs of dementia. His response to the death of producer Rob Reiner and his wife back in December was utterly uncalled for. As was his more recent response to the death of FBI Director Robert Mueller ( "I'm glad he's dead!") He initiated this War against Iran with poor planning , with no real goal , with no exit plan. We have LOST a dozen military bases in the region to Iranian missile strikes. We have LOST aircraft over Iran despite assertions from the White House that Iranian Air Force is destroyed. It is past time for Congress, including the Republican Congress to take this man out of the Oval Office. The United States cannot endure a senile and demented man at the helm.
