The most educated and capable scientists in the world work in our nation. Most of them in universities across the country funded by government grants. When the president weaponizes research funding to support his agenda our entire nation suffers. The best and brightest scientists are looking to leave the United States because of the administrations meddling in research and funding. Many are international experts in their fields and believe the United States is no longer a country that prioritizes research and science. This is unacceptable. Congress needs to step in and stop the Trump administration from destroying the things that make this country science based research and innovation.
