Hi, I’m a constituent writing from Denver. First, I oppose the House-passed H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act. This bill is a weak attempt at banning congressional stock trading and includes restrictive voter ID language aimed at suppressing our voting rights. Second, I strongly oppose both the Republican reconciliation bill AND the NDAA as currently written. I oppose Trump’s illegal war in Iran and don’t want more of my taxpayer dollars spent on it. I also oppose the voter suppression provisions that have been forced into both bills— they’re unneeded and would cause electoral chaos. For these reasons I want the Senator to vote no on both bills. Finally, I strongly oppose the CLARITY Act and expect the Senator to as well. This bill would allow Trump to keep profiting obscenely off of corrupt crypto grifts. It’s a non-starter.
